In Singapore, there will always be something to eat. Since the cafe hopping lifestyle bloomed in Singapore, one can expect a new food establishment to open its doors and people will flock to it and try out the food. A Western standard cuisine can be seen in many food places and a common and well-like food dish is burger. Burgers are everywhere! Go anywhere in Singapore and you get yourself a burger from fast food outlets to pasar malam to cafes. And since in Singapore we are blessed with many places that sells burgers, HypeQuiva has narrowed down to 10 places that offers the best burgers.
You could consider this food kiosk located at Kallang MRT Station new but Scoop Burger has been a regular at Bazaar Ramadan at Geylang. A regular patron to the bazaar would recognise this stall. Arm with only a Facebook and Instagram page, Scoop Burger has the potential to go big from positive reviews of fresh juicy patties and gracious owner and server.
Scoop Burger allows you to make your own burger by choosing you meat first (chicken, beef or mutton). Next is the sauce – beef pepper, mushroom, nacho cheese or cheddar cheese. Choose your veggies – iceberg lettuce, tomato, yellow onions or cheese. Lastly, pick your toppings – chilli, tomato, mayo or tartar sauce.
Although the concept of D.I.Y burgers is not new but $6 for a freshly made chicken burger, is a money worth spending. I am very excited to try this out.

Kaw Kaw SG, hands down, has the best hipster cafe atmosphere. Open in mid 2015, this Malaysian franchise is located along Aliwal Street and it is pronounced as “gao” which means thick in Hokkien. A stand out burger dish is the Permaisuri Burger which literally translate to Queen Burger. This hearty burger is filled with thick chicken thigh, turkey ham slice, melted cheese and chicken floss all in between toasted buns. The Permaisuri Burger also comes with lemon sauce and nacho chips as a side.

I use the phrase “might turn you vegan” loosely because sometimes we can’t give up our meat and I personally love beef. Many who have tried this establishment concluded that Creamy Shrooms burger was the best out of the nine other burgers available on the menu. The satay sauce that accompanied the patty was great as well. So if you wish to look for a healthier option and want to try a vegan burger, then this is the place for you.

GRUB has been around for a while and people still come back for their amazing GRUB cheeseburger ($13), a grubbers favourite. The thick juicy patty and savoury melted cheese, it is definitely worth your money to get them. What’s great with burgers? Fries on the side of course but if you want something different, GRUB’s Mentaiko Fries is ($5) always a winner.

This is the brainchild from the guys at Montana café, famous for its coffee and waffles. So now if you’re craving some savoury burgers, this place is your one stop shop for an amazing dinner with your friends. Opened earlier this year, this place offers food that health nuts would look down upon, like Truffle Spam ($9.90) and a Mac Daddy ($12), a combination of your favourite cheeseburger and mac n cheese. A cherry on top is that, they serve ice cream burgers with various favourite flavours such as Thai Milk Tea and Red Velvet. Oh my heart, this actually sounds pretty amazing. Check our review soon.

Their catch phrase “We Are Made Different” of course piqued my interest. I guess you could say they are different from a typical fast food chain (thinking of McDonald’s) because the establishment’s aim is to bring gourmet recipes into the fast food chain environment. The selection and combination of its burgers sets BurgerUp apart from Burger King and McDonalds. For example you can choose from an array of burgers like Cranberry Chicken Supreme Burger or Relish Beef Supreme Burger. You can also customise your burger or if you are into this kind of thing, eating your patty with rice.
